Meet Dr. Cynthia Huang

Dr. Cynthia Huang spent her childhood in Malaysia, then moved to the United Kingdom where she completed high school and college. Upon graduating from Queen’s University Dental School with distinction, she pursued her orthodontic specialty training at Northwestern University in Chicago.

After finishing her residency in 1999, she joined the faculty at Northwestern University Dental School as a clinical assistant professor, to teach the fundamentals of clinical orthodontics to the dental students, and treat patients with the cleft palate team at Northwestern University in collaboration with Shriners Hospitals for Children, Chicago.

Dr. Huang has been in private practice since her move to Southern California in 2001. She is a member of American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, and California Association of Orthodontics.

She resides in Irvine with her husband and their two children. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching her children everything from math to music, and cherishes spending time outdoors making wonderful memories with her family.
